On June 23rd, the staff at Rebound gathered outside for an afternoon tea party to celebrate Pam’s retirement! We sat safely-distanced under tents and enjoyed homemade sandwiches and desserts around decorated tables. The team wore masks and maintained physical distancing to ensure that we celebrated Pam’s time at Rebound in a safe and special way. A big thank you goes out to Krystyne Gillespie for organizing the event, making the delicious sandwiches, and bringing along other sweet treats. This get-together was a lovely way for Rebound staff to connect in-person again and welcome Pam into retirement.

During Pam Powell’s eight years at Rebound, she dedicated her time to improving the lives of children and youth in our community. She did a wonderful job corresponding with volunteers and tutors to ensure that youth in our community were supported. The staff at Rebound are sad to see Pam leave, although, we are excited to see what her future holds and wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors!
