In Partnership with Cobourg Police Services & Play It Again Sports Cobourg
Ride For Rebound is back!
This year’s event, taking place on September 21st, 2024, promises to be an exciting day for cyclists of all levels and a crucial initiative to support the mental wellness of children, youth, and families in Northumberland County.
For the 4th consecutive year, Cobourg Police Service Chief Paul VandeGraaf is committed to riding the challenging 80 km route. Alongside Chief VandeGraaf, community cyclists will tackle routes ranging from 10 km to 80km, each path winding through the picturesque landscapes of Northumberland County. This event is more than just a ride; it's a community rallying for accessible and effective mental health support for young people.
"Every kilometre we ride is a step towards a brighter future for our children and youth," said Chief Paul VandeGraaf. "Mental health resources are critical, and through this event, we aim to bring attention and funding to the essential services provided by Rebound."
Join us for a day of fun, community, and cycling as we pedal together to make a positive impact. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking to enjoy a ride with friends and family, there’s a route for everyone!
